Arrive by Sea
The Caledonian MacBrayne ferry runs from Oban to Castlebay every day of the week during the summer - this is a five hour journey. If you are traveling to the Isle of Barra from Uist you can also take a small car ferry from Eriskay which will bring you to Ardmhor jetty in forty minutes approx.
