Festival Rules

Please ensure that you read the following information and regulations. All ticket purchases are subject to the following:

General Access

The only entrance to the festival will be through the Tangasdale Machair gate opposite the Red Phone Box.  Tangasdale Machair is located approximately five minutes out of Castlebay on the west side of the island.  Entrance from any other area of the machair is forbidden and will result in exclusion from the event with no ticket refund.

Please ensure that you have your tickets and photographic identification ready before proceeding to the ticket booth.  Thorough checks will be performed at the ticket booth and security area which may include a bag search. 

Please also note that bottles of any description are not allowed past the ticket booth and security area.  That includes water bottles.  This ruling is for the safety of all festival goers.  

This is a CLOSED event.  Therefore, once you are in you are in.  Once you leave the festival grounds you will not be readmitted.   

Security and Safety

Trained security staff will be on hand at all times to ensure you have fun in a safe environment.

Bar

The festival bar is for over 18s only. Do not attempt to join the queuing system if you are under 18. Anybody under 18 attempting to purchase alcohol will be removed from the festival with no ticket refund. Anybody purchasing alcohol for anybody under 18 will also find themselves being removed from the event with no ticket refund.  Any such individuals will also be handed over to the police, who will be based on the festival grounds.  You have been warned!

A separate soft drinks bar will be provided.

The bar will close each night at 1am; therefore last orders will be at 12.40am.

First Aid

There will be qualified first aid personnel on-site at all times

Drugs

Anybody caught with illegal substances will be removed from the festival with no refund and reported to the police.

Weather Policy

The show must go on. The event will only be cancelled if the weather conditions mean that it is dangerous to continue.

Enjoy yourself
Come early
Be safe
Behave yourself - if this event is a success it may become an annual event
Stay legal - if you are under 18 stay away from the bar
Be considerate - There is some residential areas nearby. Don't litter - use the bins provided.

Take sharp objects with you
Take glass objects or bottles of any description
Take skateboards or bikes.
